Robert is certified through the QPR Institute, offering instruction & training in suicide prevention to individuals and groups, providing a 3-year certification.

From the QPR website: "QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.

Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Each year thousands of Americans, like you, are saying "Yes" to saving the life of a friend, colleague, sibling, or neighbor.

QPR can be learned in our Gatekeeper course in as little as one hour."

Individual Training

I run Suicide Prevention Training + Certification events in the Atlanta area focused on various populations.
Check out upcoming events here or sign up below to get notified when new training opportunities are added.

Group Training

Trainings can be customized to be most effective for your group, focusing on the population you work with.

Previous trainings include school faculties, youth group volunteers, church staffs, and other ministries such as Stephen ministers and North Point Community Church's Care team.

Request information about training for your church/ministry staff, leadership team, school faculty, or any other group:

Robert was great at communicating his love and concern for this topic, he had some great information and statistics that I had never heard before.
— Terry Thomas, Critical Response Director at North Point Community Church
Robert uses life experience to help those in attendance understand they can make a difference and save a live. I would encourage any organization to utilize Robert as a resource for training around a difficult but extremely important topic.
— Dr. Hunter Chadwick, High School Principal at King's Ridge Christian School
